Folktales of the Peak District

Folktales of the Peak District by Mark Henderson is a collection of sixty-two stories from across the region. They include fairy tales, local legends and some unusual historical stories, as well as maps that locate the tales in their setting. All the stories are written with the intention to be read aloud in the oral storytelling tradition.
