A Glossop Apothecary

A Glossop Apothecary is an 83-page history of the chemist that has stood in the centre of Glossop for almost two hundred years. The book was written by Fay Hartley, after she sold the family chemist in the early 2000s. The book covers the history of the 'apothecary' through the different families that ran it, along with lots of great photos, victorian ads and recipes for old elixirs.
